Diapers are so expensive and as you know I can't stand to pay full price for anything. I also can't stand having to clip coupons weekly and drive to 7 different stores to get the *best* deal on diapers. I just don't have the time (or patience) for that.

CHEAP Tablet....Great for Kids!

If you have a Micro Center in your area, they are currently offering the Azpen Innovation 7inch A700 tablet for just $39.99 (Originally $79.99). Note that you have to pick up in store to get this deal. (Limit one per household)

I decided to pick one up for my daughter earlier this week. She loves to play with my phone and it's only a matter of time before she drops it into the toilet or does something else that renders it useless. I figured for $39.99, this tablet was worth a shot (and if I hated it...it would go back!)

Review: I ordered the tablet online from Micro Center and went in the next day to pick it up. The tablet was well packaged and was powered up and ready for me to start experimenting with as I took it out of the box. The tablet is powered by Android and has a Google store icon to download apps. I downloaded a few free game apps for my daughter along with Netflix. The tablet itself easily linked into our home's wifi and downloaded the apps pretty quickly. There is a slight delay in opening apps (a few seconds) that you might not be used to if you have an Iphone, IPad. The games worked well and I logged into our Netlix account and was easily able to stream a movie. (No "hiccups" along the way or breaks in the movie for buffering ect).

Overall, I am happy so far with this purchase and so is my daughter. This is a great little piece of technology for kids (and even adults for simple things like checking email and Facebook). I want to say you cannot expect this product to perform like your IPad, but if you go in with the right expectations, you can't go wrong at this price point!

They offer 2 & 3 year "protection" plans which I did not opt for. The tablet already comes with a 1 year warranty and while online it says the protection plan includes spills and drops, they confirmed in store that it only covers parts and labor (no thanks!)

Baby & Little Girl Hair Accessories...CHEAP!

When I had a little girl, I was excited to get fun hair bows and headbands. What I wasn't expecting was the price tag that came along with all of the frill. Some accessories I found were upwards of $20+ each...Yikes! I didn't want to have to explain to her later in life that she didn't have a proper college fund in place because mommy went overboard on the bows (but boy did you look CUTE!) ha.

I knew there had to be a solution and I found one in EBay.

Many of THE SAME bows and headbands that I saw in stores, can be purchased directly from China for a fraction of the price. Shipping can take 2+ weeks, but it is generally free and frankly, worth the wait for what you will save.

I love these because you will have a bow to match every outfit in your child's closet and the alligator clip keep makes it so easy to quickly slip on and off their head (and you only need a little hair to make it work!)

I have seen these bow for $3-$7 EACH at retails locations.
